Two People Rescued After Fishing Boat Capsizes in Phang Nga

Phang Nga –

Two fishermen have been rescued after a boat capsized in Phang Nga.

The Royal Thai Navy in Phang Nga was notified of the incident over the past weekend in which a local fishing boat capsized about 26 kilometers from the Bang Kwan Beach in Khok Kloi, Takua Thung district.

They were later notified from another fishing boat that they rescued two boat crew members from the capsized longtail boat at the location.

Both were safe and taken back to land nearby although their names were not given to the Thai media.

This is good news as just recently a Thai fisherman tragically lost his life after a major storm in Koh Samui as we covered here.

As part of that same storm system, another four fishermen sadly lost their lives in Nakhon Si Thammarat as we wrote about here.
