In Total, 44 Road Accidents in Six Days of Phuket Songkran’s Seven Days of Danger Road Accidents Campaign

Phuket has announced in total 44 road accidents in six days (April 11th – April 16th) in Songkran’s Seven Days of Danger road accidents campaign (April 11th to April 17th).

The Phuket Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) Office told the Phuket Express today (April 17th) details on the sixth day (April 16th) of the ‘Songkran’s Seven Days of Danger’ road accidents campaign.

On April 16th, three road accidents took place in the Mueang District with three injuries. Two accidents with three injuries took place in the Thalang district. Two accidents with two injuries took place in the Kathu district with two injuries.

In a total on day six, there were seven road accidents with eight injuries (3 males and 5 females).

In a total of six days in the campaign, there were 44 road accidents with 47 injuries and two deaths.

Phuket authorities have reported three traffic accidents with no fatalities on the fifth day (April 15th) of the Seven Dangerous Days road-safety campaign.
