In Total, 25 Road Accidents in Three Days of Phuket Songkran’s Seven Days of Danger Road Safety Campaign

Phuket has announced seven road accidents on day three (April 13th) in Songkran’s Seven Days of Danger road accidents campaign (April 11th to April 17th).

The Phuket Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) Office told the Phuket Express today (April 14th) details on the third day (April 13th) of the ‘Songkran’s Seven Days of Danger’ road accidents campaign.

Four road accidents took place in the Mueang District with four injuries. One accident with one injury took place in the Thalang district. Two accidents with two injuries took place in the Kathu district. In total, five males and two females were injured.

Most accidents involved drunk driving and most traffic charges were people unable to provide driving licenses.

In a total of three days in the campaign, there were 25 road accidents with 25 injuries and one death.
