Phuket Launches Songkran Seven Days of Danger Road Safety Campaign

Phuket-

The “Songkran Seven Days of Danger” road safety campaign across the country this year starts on Tuesday (April 11th) until Monday (April 17th).

The Phuket Vice Governor Arnuparb Rodkhwan Yodrabam told the Phuket Express that the Phuket Road Safety Center launched on Monday (April 10th) and the Songkran Seven Days of Danger road safety campaign this year starts from today (April 11th) until Monday (April 17th).

The main road deaths are from accidents caused by drunk driving and not wearing seatbelts and helmets. Phuket is also focusing on marine safety too. Officials are ensuring that all passengers wear life jackets when they are traveling on boats.

Their target is to reduce road accidents and deaths significantly from previous years, Vice Governor Arnuparb added.

The Phuket Express will give daily updates of the seven deadly days campaign right here on our news portal.
