Phuket –
A security guard was attacked by contractors at a housing estate in Koh Kaew, which was caught on CCTV.
Mr. Utain Thaisa told the Phuket Express that on March 25th he was doing his normal duties in the morning at the security guard box in front of the housing estate where he worked.
There was a group of furniture contractors and workers in a pickup truck that arrived at the entrance of the estate. They stopped in front of the guard box and Utain asked them to provide an ID card before they were allowed to get into the housing estate as per the estate rules.
The contractors seemed to be frustrated but finally showed their ID cards before they entered the housing estate.
At night time Mr. Utain’s brother, who works with him, came on duty and relieved Utain. Mr. Kongsin Thaisa, Utain’s brother, had already been informed about the incident in the morning.
Mr. Kongsin told the Phuket Express that the same group of people came back and asked for his brother before they attacked him instead.
Mr. Utain and Mr. Kongsin have already filed a report to the Phuket City Police with CCTV footage evidence.
The identity of the attackers or what company they represented was not released by Phuket police.
