Photos of Patong beach with black water has gone viral in social media this week.
‘Drone Boat Patong’ posted multiple photos with the message “Black seaweed at Patong Beach has affected confidence in tourism.”
Sea water on Patong Beach from the area around the Pak Bang Canal is black. Swimmers are not going into the water as a result of caution and concern.
Social media is calling for relevant authorities to investigate and quickly solve the problems before it damages Phuket tourism.
