57-year-old Man Jumps from Phuket Bridge, Currently Missing

Phang Nga, Phuket-

A search was launched after a 57-year-old man jumped off the Thep Krasattri Bridge.

The Kok Kloi Police in Takua Thung, Phang Nga was notified of the incident after midnight today(March 27th) on the Thep Krasattri Bridge which connects Phuket Island and the Phang Nga mainland.

Kusoldharm recue divers in Phuket arrived at the scene to find a motorbike parked on the bridge. The man was later identified by police as a 57 year old Thai man from Cherng Talay in Thalang. His full name was withheld for his privacy and that of his family.

Rescue drivers launched a search on water surface for two hours but failed. The search has continued again this afternoon. As of press time the man remains missing.
