Man Acting Erratic and Disturbing the Peace Caught at Apartment in Patong

Patong –

A man disturbing the peace and acting erratic was detained at an apartment in Patong and sent to a psychiatric hospital for assistance.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the incident at 9:45 A.M. on Thursday (March 23rd) at an apartment on Ratcha Patan Nusorn Road in Patong.

They and the Phuket Express arrived at the scene to find a man identified only as Mr. Kitti from Nakhon Si Thammarat. He was shouting inside a room at the apartment complex and disturbing and scaring other residents.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that they tried to talk with Kitti but he refused to speak to them. His wife, only identified as Mrs. Anna, later arrived at the scene before Mr. Kitti agreed to open the door.

He was taken to a local psychiatric hospital for assistance.

At this stage, police believe that Mr. Kitti was intoxicated and stressed about his personal problems. No illegal drugs were found inside his room.
