Passenger Dies and Rider Seriously Injured after Motorbike Crash in Patong

Patong –

A motorbike passenger was pronounced dead at the scene while the rider sustained severe injuries after a motorbike crash in Patong.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident on Tuesday night (March 21st) on the Kamala – Kalim Road in Patong.

They arrived at the scene to find a damaged motorbike on the road. Nearby they found the body of a woman identified only as Mrs. Petchthip, 50 from Khon Kaen. Mr. Jeerania, 29, from Uttaradit had sustained severe injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital.

Witnesses said the motorbike rider was driving at high speed before losing control at a curve. However, the police are continuing their investigation to find the exact cause of the accident.
