Jet-Ski Operator on Beach in Phuket Found Without License

A jet-ski operator on a beach in Cherng Talay was found without licenses for some of the jet-skis.

The Phuket Marine Police told the Phuket Express that over the past weekend they inspected jet-skis on Bang Tao Beach.

Some of the jet-skis were found with no licenses and some found with expired licenses. The Jet-ski operator has been fined according to the Navigation in the Thai Waters Act.

The Phuket Marine Police told the Phuket Express that operators using unlicensed jet-skis shall be fined up to 10,000 baht. Driving jet-skis with no driving license can be jailed up to six months or fined from 1,000 to 10,000 baht.
