Sea Turtle Eggs Found on Beach in Phang Nga

More sea turtle eggs were found on a beach in Khura Buri district.

The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR) Phang Nga office told the Phuket Express that on Friday (March 17th) they were notified from locals that they found a trace of a mother sea turtle on Das Beach on Ra Island in the Koh Phra-Thong sub-district.

Officials went to the beach where they found the nest with sea turtle eggs buried inside. The area was not affected by seawater or poor weather.

The nest will be monitored until the eggs hatch by relevant authorities.
