Thief Attempts to Steal from Laundry Shop in Thalang

A thief attempted to steal coins from a laundry shop in Thalang but failed. A laundry shop owner is appealing to the public and offering a reward for information leading to the culprit’s arrest.

Ms. Jittawattana Saengmanee reported to a local media outlet ‘Newshawk Phuket’ with CCTV footage videos of the attempted theft. She is the owner of a laundry shop in Baan Liphon in Sri Soonthorn. She stated that on Monday (March 13th) at 2:00 A.M., a male thief with a basket arrived at the laundry shop.

He was trying to break a into a coin operated washing machine but failed. However, the machine was damaged in the attempt. The thief then sped away. The laundry shop owner has filed a report to the Thalang police with the CCTV footage evidence but the suspect is still on the run.

The shop owner is therefore asking for the public to help. If anyone provides information that leads to the arrest of the culprit they will will receive a 2,000 baht reward. Please call 062-2236588 if you think you might be able to assist.
