107 Sea Turtle Eggs Found on Phuket Beach

Phuket –

One hundred and seven sea turtle eggs were found on a beach in Thalang.

The Sirinat National Park officials told the Phuket Express that on Monday morning (March 13th) at 6:00 A.M. they were notified by a local person, Mr. Kreangkrai Deejom, that a sea turtle mother was laying eggs at 5:00 A.M. on a beach near Sai Koo Bay in Sakoo sub-district.

National Park officials found the tracks of the mother. In total 107 sea turtle eggs were found inside the nest.

The eggs were relocated to a safe area at Nai Yang Beach nearby.
