96 Green Sea Turtle Eggs Found on Island in Phang Nga

A green sea turtle laid 96 eggs on Tachai Island in Similan National Park.

The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR) told the Phuket Express they found traces of a sea turtle mother on the Tachai Island in Tai Mueang district.

DMCR officials and staff found the turtle nest and discovered that they were 96 green sea turtle eggs. The eggs have been relocated to a safe area nearby due to concern of damage from the weather.
