Four Alleged Drug Dealers Arrested in Chalong with 16,000 Meth Pills and Crystal Meth

Chalong, Phuket —

Chalong Police have apprehended four Thai drug suspects.

The two separate arrests took place on Friday, March 10th. The first suspect, Mr. Suwat Ting Thong-In, 49, was surrounded and nabbed at his rental accommodation in Soi Mayuree in the Mueang district of Phuket. Police seized from Suwat a .22 mm pistol, four bullets, and 19.50 grams of crystal meth.

Then, another arrest occurred in the nearby area of Soi Suksan. Chalong Police arrested three drug suspects, Mr. Yosthorn Chatthong, 26, Ms. Atchareeporn Laebua, 28, and Ms. Sawittree Bumrungraj, 23. Seized from them were 16,849 meth pills and 65.8 grams of crystal meth, three smartphones, and two motorcycles, according to police.

The four alleged dealers were taken into custody and were facing drug charges.
