A driver who opened fire with a gun inside the car park building of a hospital in Phuket Town is facing charges of attempted murder.

Our previous story:

The Phuket City Police were notified of the incident at 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday (March 7th) on the fifth floor of the parking area building of the Vachira Phuket Hospital on Yaowarad Road in Phuket Town. Thai Police arrested a male suspect who opened fire. Mr. Tanakorn, 31 said had been suffering from depression.

Now for the update:

Phuket City Police told the Phuket Express that Tanakorn is facing charges of attempted murder, carrying a gun in public without permission, firing a firearm in public, and possession of a firearm and ammunition without a permit.

Meanwhile, the other car driver, whose name was not given by police, said he honked the horn as he was afraid that the pickup truck driver did not see the car behind him when the pickup truck was backing into the parking space. He admitted that they were verbally arguing after that.

He called the police after Tanakorn opened fire.
