Two Women Arrested in Phuket for Illegally Selling Contraband and E-Cigarettes

Phuket Police arrested two Thai women, one of whom is a 17-year-old teenager, for illegally selling contraband tobacco and vaping devices.

The seized items included 290 packs of foreign cigarettes, more than 300 bottles of refill e-liquid, 15 e-cigarette devices, 66,920 baht in cash, and many other items. The suspects, Ms. Ya, 47, and Ms. Porn, 17, were arrested at their residence in the Mueang district of Phuket yesterday, March 4th.

Phuket Police told The Phuket Express that the suspects were previously arrested for the same offense last month. This time, they are facing charges for violating the ban on the sale of any electronic cigarette, vaping liquid, or tobacco-related products, as well as the illegal importation or possession of goods that are untaxed, restricted, or prohibited.
