91 Sea Turtle Eggs Found on Phuket Beach

Phuket –

Ninety-one green sea turtle eggs have been found on a beach in Thalang.

A Sirinat National Park official told the Phuket Express that on Wednesday morning (March 1st) at 8:00 A.M. they were notified by a local person, Mr. Kreangkrai Deejom, that a green sea turtle mother was laying eggs at 5:00 A.M. on a beach near Sai Koo Bay.

National Park officials found the tracks of the mother which is about 100 centimeters wide. In total 91 green turtle eggs were found inside the nest.

The eggs were relocated to a safe area at Nai Yang Beach nearby.
