Krabi –

A five- meter long king cobra was caught in the Klong Thom district.

Rescue workers were notified of the snake at a house in Baan Nanai, Klong Tom Tai sub-district earlier this week.

They arrived to find the king cobra was hiding under a chair in front of a residential home.

It took only four minutes for a professional snake handling team to catch the five-meter long king cobra.

The king cobra was released back to a nearby forest, according to the snake-catching team.
