Phuket Airport Holds Major Fire Drill

Phuket-

The Phuket International Airport has announced today (February 23rd) that they are holding a fire drill practice which includes a significant amount of smoke as part of the drill.

The drill today (February 23rd) started at 10:00 A.M. to midday near Runway 27. During the practice, a large amount of smoke was sent into the air around the airport. The airport staff apologised for the inconvenience.

These drills are held regularly with ample warnings to the public in the interests of safety at Phuket Airport.
