Russian and Thai Arrested at Patong Cannabis Shop

Patong –

A Russian man and a Thai woman have been arrested at a cannabis shop in Patong.

A team from the Kathu District Office led by the Kathu District Chief Mr. Thitiwat Boonkit recently inspected cannabis shops in Patong and made two arrests. The two people arrested were:

  1. Ms. Apiradee Hanyek, 39. 175 bags of cannabis buds were seized from the shop. She is being accused of selling a controlled herb (cannabis buds) without a permit.

2. Mr. RYCHKOV KIRILL, 34 Russian national. He is being accused of working without a permit.

They were taken to the Patong Police Station for further legal action.
