Law Enforcement Officers Inspect Entertainment Venues in Patong

Patong –

Law enforcement officers inspected entertainment venues in Patong after complaints from concerned citizens of opening after the legal closing times.

A team of officers led by the Kathu District Chief Mr. Thitiwat Boonkit last night (February 20th) from 11:30 P.M to 1:00 A.M. inspected entertainment venues on Bangla Road, on Ratch Uthit 200 Pi Road, on Phra Metta Road, on Na Nai Road, on Taweewong Road, and in Soi Saen Sabai.

Mr. Thitiwat told the Phuket Express that the inspection followed after many complaints on social media and from concerned citizens about entertainment venues that are being opened after the legal closing time.

However, last night no entertainment venues were found opened after the legal time. The Phuket Express notes that closing times can differ from Midnight to 2AM depending on entertainment zone.
