Sarasin Bridge Festival to Promote Phang Nga and Phuket tourism

Phang Nga –

The Sarasin Bridge Festival will be held from Friday (February 17th) to Sunday (February 19th) to promote tourism in Phang Nga and Phuket, north of Phuket.

The director of the Phang Nga Tourism Authority of Thailand (Phang Nga TAT) Mr. Uthit Limsakun told The Phuket Express, “Sarasin Bridge was the first bridge that linked Phuket Island and the Phang Nga mainland. This year is the ‘Visit Thailand Year’ tourism campaign with the strategy to connect Phang Nga and Phuket ‘City to City’.”

“The campaign is to welcome both Thai and foreign tourists via event marketing. A tunnel of light which will be 30 meters long is set up at the bridge with huge balloons. The Phang Nga TAT is expecting at least 30,000 visitors from Phang Nga and Phuket at the festival,” Mr. Uthit added.
