Fire Destroys 60-Year-Old Building at a School in Thalang

A fire has destroyed a 60-year-old building at a school in Thalang.

The Thalang District Chief Mr. Bancha Tanooin told the Phuket Express that the fire started at 8:00 P.M. last night (February 10th) at a building in the Baan Kok Wat Mai School in Thep Krasattri.

Firefighters with four fire engines from the Thep Krasattri Municipality and the Cherng Talay Municipality arrived at the scene to finally put out the fire. The building is aged around 60-years-old. The building was being renovated.

However, no injuries were reported. The exact cause of the fire is being investigated by the Thai Forensic Police.
