Phuket Town –
A major underground cable construction project on Phuket Road in Bang Naew, Phuket Town has started.
The Phuket City Mayor Mr. Saroj Angkanapilart told The Phuket Express, “The underground cable work goes from the Bang Neaw Intersection to Soi Kor Pai. The work starts today, February 7th from 8:00 P.M. to 5:00 A.M. until the construction is finished. Working during these hours affects motorists less.”
“However, we ask for motorists to please avoid using the road during construction times. We apologize for any inconvenience,” Mr. Saroj added.
No specific date for when the construction will finish was given.
