Dolphin Found Dead in Krabi

Krabi –

A dolphin was found dead near an island in Mueang Krabi.

The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR) told the Phuket Express that on Saturday, January 28th, they were notified from officials in the Than Bok Khorani National Park that a dead dolphin was found on the east of the Hong Island in the Khao Thong sub-district.

They went to the scene to find the male Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin which was 190 centimeters long. No severe wounds were found on the dead dolphin.

An autopsy was conducted in which his cause of death was identified as a natural sickness.
