Leatherback Sea Turtle Lays Eggs on Phang Nga Beach

Phang Nga-

A sea turtle laid eggs on a beach in Takua Thung district.

The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR) told the Phuket Express that this morning (January 28th) a leatherback sea turtle mother had recently laid eggs on the Naklua Beach in Kok Kloi sub-district.

The nest is full of eggs in which the area is not affected by seawater or poor weather. Those eggs were not removed from their nests. However, the two nests are being fenced for their protection.
