Chalong Underpass in Phuket to temporarily close

The Chalong Underpass will be temporarily closed to traffic to fix a damaged water pump for two days.

The Phuket Highway Office told the Phuket Express that the Chalong Underpass in Chalong will be temporarily closed for several days to traffic from Tuesday January 31st to Wednesday February 1st, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 A.M..

The closing will be for removing water pumps inside the underpass to repair them after the water pumps were broken from a car crash.

The Phuket Highway Office apologized for any inconvenience.
