First Taiwanese Tour Group in Three Years Arrives on Samui Island

The first Taiwanese tour group arrived on Samui Island in almost three years due to Covid-19 restrictions.

The former president of the Samui Tourism Association told the Phuket Express that the first 142 member Taiwanese tour group arrived on Samui Island yesterday (January 24th).

They are also traveling to Ang Thong Island, Tao Island, and Nang Yuan Island for four days and three nights trips in Surat Thani. They like natural tourism and visited temples and shrines.

Next month airlines from China and Russia will be arriving at Surat Thani International Airport and are planning to visit islands in the province including Samui Island.

Since the beginning of this month there have been 86,507 passengers arriving at the airport and 91,570 visitors arrived from ferries.
