Kamala –
Structures on Kamala Beach have been removed after numerous complaints.
The Kamala Administrative Organization told the Phuket Express that they have received complaints that a beach bed operator on the Kamala Beach allegedly encroached upon the beach with a wooden fence.
Law enforcement officers were sent to inspect the area where the operator was ordered to remove the fence from the beach.
Encroachment on beaches has been a sensitive issue for some now in Phuket, with officials regularly tearing down illegally built structures.
