King cobra caught at home in Thalang

Thalang –

A four-meter long king cobra has been caught at a local house in Thalang.

The Paklok Mayor Mr. Panya Sampaorat told the Phuket Express that Paklok rescue workers were notified of the snake at a house in Baan Paklok last night (January 17th).

They arrived at the house to find a teenage king cobra inside the house. Their ‘professional snake handling’ team took about half an hour to catch the king cobra.

The king cobra is four meters long and weighs 10 kilograms. The king cobra will be released back to a local forest.
