Police in Thalang Caution Women and Transgenders Living Alone

Phuket –

The Sakoo Police in the Thalang district have issued a warning for women and transgenders who live alone to be more careful at night time.

The Sakoo Police told the Phuket Express that last week there were ‘dangers’ for women and transgenders who lived completely alone, especially in rental rooms, recently.

“Please make sure to have doors and windows locked before sleeping. There are many suspicious men from other areas and provinces. If there is anything untoward happening, please call 191. The most dangerous times are between 2:00 A.M. to 5:00 A.M..” Sakoo Police stated.

The Phuket Express noted the Sakoo Police did not directly mention what had happened previously to cause the warning to be issued.

Sakoo Police also posted a picture of a gray T-shirt to ask for public assistance if anyone recognized that someone was recently wearing the T-shirt. They stated that the person is very dangerous and still on the run.

However, they have since deleted the post adding confusion on social media as to what the danger is.
