An intoxicated minivan driver was found with 11 methamphetamine pills in his possession after driving with a flat tire, causing sparks to come from a front wheel in Thalang.
The Tha Chatchai Police told the Phuket Express that they were notified at 9:00 A.M. Friday morning (January 13th) that a minivan with a flat tire was driving for many kilometres with sparks coming from the front wheel outbound on Thep Kassattri Road in Mai Khao, Thalang.
Police finally stopped the minivan which had no passengers. The minivan driver, Mr. Pichai Klomsanoh, 29, was found with 11 methamphetamine pills in his possession. The driver was taken to the Tha Chachai Police Station.
The Tha Chatchai Police told the Phuket Express the driver is facing charges of illegal possession of a Category 1 Drug and driving after taking methamphetamine pills. The driver admitted that he took three methamphetamine pills at 7:00 A.M..
