Phuket –

The Phuket Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (Phuket DDPM) held a fire rescue on high rises drill.

The drill was held over the past weekend at a high-rise condominium in Kathu. The Kathu deputy mayor Mr. Somboon Iceyarak told the Phuket Express that a fire on a high rise building can easily happen and lead to huge damage and loss of life especially in hot weather with high temperatures when it is dry. The drill is aimed to prepare and be ready to quickly help victims as fast as possible.
