Yacht named Marco Polo reportedly disappears from docking area in Chalong, Phuket

Chalong –

A yacht reportedly disappeared from a docking area in the sea in Chalong.

The Thai Maritime Enforcement Center Phuket told the Phuket Express that they were notified that a yacht named ‘Marco Polo’ had disappeared from the docking area in Nai Harn.

The German owner, Mr. Marco Ceferin, notified law enforcement that the yacht had gone missing yesterday (December 28th) when he went back to his yacht at 11:00 A.M..

Witnesses saw three people get on the yacht at 8:00 A.M. yesterday (December 28th). The owner has already filed a report to the Chalong Police.

If anyone has seen the ‘Marco Polo’ yacht please contact the Thai Maritime Enforcement Center Phuket Region 3 hotline 1465.

Shouting Marco is unlikely, however, to get a polo response and requires a greater search effort noted some social media commenters familiar with the children’s game of the same name similar to Hide and Seek.
