Crocodile Caught at Lagoon in Rawai

A crocodile was caught at a lagoon in Rawai, Mueang Phuket.

The Rawai Mayor Aroon Solos told the Phuket Express that he was notified from a local resident that a crocodile was found lying near a lagoon. The Phuket Fisheries were called and the crocodile was finally caught.

The crocodile is about one meter long and weighs about five kilograms. It was taken to the Phuket Fisheries Office.

It is believed that someone released the crocodile at the lagoon on purpose and the matter is being looked into.
