Australian tourist rescued after losing consciousness on Patong Beach

Patong –

An Australian tourist who lost consciousness on Patong Beach has been rescued by beach lifeguards.

The Patong Lifeguard Association told the Phuket Express that yesterday (December 20th) they found an elderly female Australian tourist, whose name was withheld, who suddenly lost consciousness with no pulse on the beach.

They provided her CPR while waiting for an advance ambulance from the Patong Hospital. The tourist’s pulse was back after CPR and she was rushed to the Patong Hospital.

Her condition as of press time was stable, although the reason for the sudden collapse was not given by representatives from The Patong Hospital.
