Man found with knife on Bangla Road, taken to police station

Patong –

A man was found with a knife on the Bangla Road in Patong and was taken to the Patong police station.

The Kathu Police Chief Mr. Siwat Rawangkun told the Phuket Express that last night (December 15th) they conducted a normal patrol as usual on Bangla Road to prevent crime and illegal drugs.

The patrol found that a shirtless Thai man was found carrying a knife in front of a local night club. He was caught and taken to the Patong Police Station for questioning and for further legal action.

No further details on the incident were released by police. There were no injuries.
