Beer bar in Patong found with no legal licenses

Kathu –

A beer bar in Patong was found with no legal licenses following complaints from concerned citizens.

The Kathu District Chief Siwat Rawangkun told the Phuket Express that they checked the bar beer in Patong last night (December 14th) after official complaints were filed saying that some bars were opening with loud music disturbing residents.

The bar manager was unable to present a legal license for the bar and a license for selling alcohol. The manager was taken to the Patong Police Station for further legal action but was not named to the press.
