Famous Russian jazz saxophonist present at Jazz on the Beach in Karon

Igor Butman, a famous Russian jazz saxophonist was present at  ‘Jazz on the Beach’ at Karon Beach last night (December 13th) with many foreigners especially Russians joining in the concert.

The event was held at the Nong Harn Lake at Karon Beach and was opened by the Phuket Governor Naroong Woonciew and Mr. Sasiwat Wongsinsawat, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation in Moscow. Many Thais and foreigners joined in the concert.

Governor Naroong told the Phuket Express “The concert is aimed to support tourism as Russian tourists are now the number one visitors in Phuket.”

Many Russian tourists joined the event, notes The Phuket Express.
