Four killer whales spotted in Phang Nga

Phang Nga-

Four killer whales, also known as orcas, were sighted in the Tai Mueang district.

A video was posted on the personal Facebook page of ‘Tai Aof Eang’ yesterday (December 4th).

Mr. Kriengkrai ‘Aof’ Wongjan, 35, who posted the video, told the Phuket Express “I was driving a speedboat with five tourists and a boat crew for fishing at Ta Chai Island about 8 kilometers from the Similan National Park.”

“While we were stopping in the sea, there were four killer whales which were about three meters long playing around the boat. The killer whale is rarely seen in this area. We were very lucky to see them.” Aof concluded.
