Phatthalung –

A wanted suspect for attempted murder four years ago in Phuket has been arrested in Phatthalung.

The Phatthalung Provincial Police told the Phuket Express that they have arrested Mr. Thanakorn Phontha, 23, from Phuket. Seized from him was a single handgun. He was arrested at a house in Phatthalung and he was taken to Phuket to face legal action.

The arrest came after the Phuket Provincial Court issued an arrest warrant in August 2018 for trying to kill others in Phuket, illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, and carrying a gun in pubic without a permit.
