Road near Phuket Airport being rushed to finish by the end of this month

An under-construction road near the Phuket International Airport in Thalang is being rushed to be finished by the end of this month.

The Phuket Vice-Governor followed up on road improvement construction near the Phuket International Airport in the Thalang district which is 11 percent behind schedule, according to the Vice-Governor.

The Phuket Vice Governor Pichet Panapong and the Phuket Highway Office Chief Mr. Yuttana Pitak yesterday (November 25th) inspected the Number 4031 Road (Mud Dok Khao- Airport Road) near the airport runway in the Maikhao sub-district.

Vice Governor Pichet told the Phuket Express, “The construction started on March 10th of this year and is scheduled to be finished on October 5th of this year which will be in total 210 days of work. However, the work is behind schedule. The construction is being rushed to be completed by the end of this month. This is the second road leading to the airport area.”
