The Rawai Municipality will be holding the Sky Night Festival to celebrate the opening of high season and the New Year.
The Rawai Mayor Aroon Solos told the Phuket Express. “The event will be held from December 30th, 2022 to January 5th, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. until midnight at Nai Harn Beach in Rawai sub-district, Mueang Phuket district. There will be many shows and live music with food and shop stalls at the event. Please come and celebrate with us.”
The Phuket Express notes that this will be the first major New Year festival in the area without closed borders and covid restrictions since 2019. Many business owners are hoping the return to normality will attract many visitors and boost business sales.
