Fire destroys work camp in Koh Kaew  

Phuket –

A fire has destroyed a work camp and damaged a car in the Koh Kaew sub-district in the Mueang Phuket district.

Firefighters were notified of the fire at 4:00 P.M. today (November 18th) at a work camp on Pracha Uthit 5 Road behind a mall.

The fire teams arrived at the scene with fire engines to find the work camp was ablaze with heavy black smoke up in the sky. It took about 10 minutes to control the fire.

No injuries were reported as the Thai and migrant workers were not back from work. The work camp made of zinc was destroyed including a pickup truck and a motorbike. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
