Cars are not allowed to pass on the collapsed Patong hill in the Kathu to Patong lane.

Now for the update:

Yesterday (November 14th) Phuket Vice Governor Pichet Panapong inspected the repair work on the collapsed Patong hill. Vice Governor Pichet told the Phuket Express:

“The Kathu to Patong lane is expected to be ready to use again in the next three days.  However, if there is more rain, the repair work will be slowed down. We have to make sure that the road is safe before we re-open the lane again.”
