Patong –
Cars will be allowed to pass on the partially collapsed Patong Hill Road on both lanes.
Our previous stories:
A road leading to the Patong Hill in Phuket has started to collapse after a landslide.
Now for the update:
The Patong Municipality told the Phuket Express this morning (November 10th) that the Phuket Governor Naroong Woonciew has ordered to allow sedans, pickup trucks and minivans (small vehicles) to use the damaged Patong Hill on both lanes from Kathu to Patong by 4:00 P.M. onward today (November 10th).
The hill road had been closed for weeks after a landslide following major storms had damaged the road significantly.
