The Phuket Tourism Association held a ‘Table Top Sales’ event and welcomed USA travel agencies.
The Phuket Tourism Association held the ‘Table Top Sales’ event from November 6th to November 8th, 2022. They welcomed 25 travel agencies from the United States of America.
Tourism agencies in Phuket who were wearing Phuket traditional costumes presented hotel and tour packages to USA travel agencies. Cabaret and traditional shows were also presented at the event.
The President of the Phuket Tourism Association Mr. Tanet Tantipiriyakit told the Phuket Express “The American tourism market has reached the top ten for Phuket tourism for many years. In 2019 there were almost 100,000 American tourists arriving at the Phuket International Airport.”
“Meanwhile in 2022 until last month, there have beeb 35,000 American tourists who arrived at the Phuket International Airport. This number shows 35 percent of tourism improvement in Phuket after Covid -19,” Mr. Tanet added.
