Kathu –
A driver was injured and became stuck after his backhoe overturned in Kamala.
Emergency responders were notified of the accident at noon today (November 8th) in Soi Bang Wan, Kamala sub-district in Kathu.
They arrived at the scene to find the overturned backhoe. The driver was stuck inside. It took about an hour to free the male driver out. He had broken his leg and was taken to a nearby hospital.
The driver who was later identified as Mr. Poptam Senkhao, 47, told The Phuket Express that he was pulling logs froma hill before the backhoe overturned.
