Mother rescued from jumping at bridge in Phuket in front of daughter

Phuket –

A mother has been rescued after trying to jump from a bridge in Thalang in front of her crying daughter.

The Tha Chatchai village headman Mr. Panupan Jindaphon told the Phuket Express about the incident. He was notified from good Samaritans this morning (November 2nd) that they have rescued a woman. She was at the edge of the Thao Thep Kasattri Bridge (known as Sarasin Bridge) while her daughter was crying nearby.

Rescue workers and the village headman arrived at the scene to find the mother and her daughter who were crying on the bridge. They were taken to the Tha Chatchai Police for further assistance.

Their names was withheld due to the sensitivity of the situation.
